Who We

Are

The Kimball Public Schools Foundation was established as a non-profit organization in 1990. Donations have been accepted through the years in an effort to build a financial base to begin awarding grants for use by individuals or organizations to promote, support and enhance educational related experiences.

The first grants were awarded in 1992 and totaled $761.75. Since 1992, the Foundation has awarded $245,000 in grants, $72,000 in updates to the Harry McNees Auditorium, $68,000 for student activity camp registration fees and team travel gear and over $50,000 in scholarships. Some of the bigger projects we have funded include a New Yamaha Grand Piano, a CNC plasma table for the welding shop, student activity camp registration fees and an infant care simulation program.
